After a frustrating 2009, not running at all after April, when I got home after a decent two weeks warm weather training in Italy, the actual bad injury time has come, at the ridiculous age of 17. Over the summer I also took it upon myself to loose abit of weight and essentially muscle mass, as to be more effecient while I run etc. blahh.. However, without being able to exercise at all - aside from crutching it about and hoping round the house - I had to do it the conventional way, and just eat less. Truth is fatties It works
How do I know this? since I got down to 8 st 10lbs at Xmas, after weighing around 10 and a half stone in April.

So my foot is majorly F'd = Surgery on the 23rd of October (a partial calcaneal ostectomy), after putting up with retrocalcaneal bursitis for months.. (who names these things?) which is kinda the best thing really since sitting around is mind bumming after a while. Appaz this shit takes like 4-6 months to fully heal... But I only went and did it in 8 weeks

By March I had been building up a fitness base again - Verryyyy sl-o-o-o-o-w-l-y, and ended up doing the UK Inter counties whereby I came 100th - wheyyy. I was running again though, and ill try to halve my position come next year
